The glass village is open daily 9-17

You are welcome to visit the Glass Village all year round. The hotel and the info desk are open from 9 to 17 from Monday to Sunday. If you would like to visit the village’s museums or exhibitions outside regular opening hours, don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Exceptions in opening hours during Midsummer:

  • Pruuki Bistro Restaurant, Café Olderman, and Pub Airanne will be open as usual during the Midsummer. Exhibitions and galleries in the Galleriakäytävä are open during Pruuki Bistro opening hours.
  • The Glass Museum and Oiva Toikka Bird Nest are closed 19–21 June. Fashion boutique Belliina Shop is open on Fri 19 June on 11–15 and closed on Sat & Sun 20–21 June.
  • Glassblowing demonstrations will be on break during Midsummer.

Arriving

ARRIVING TO THE VILLAGE

Nuutajärvi sits nestled among the forests of Urjala, Finland, conveniently along the route between the bigger cities of Tampere and Turku.

It’s less than an hour’s drive from Tampere, just over an hour from Turku, and about two hours from both Helsinki and Lahti.

There’s plenty of free parking in the village.
